To use our modded controller you will first have to go through the steps to sync your controller (read product description). Once your controller is synced to your Xbox 360 console you will either notice that one of the player LED quadrants is flashing or not. If it is, please quickly press the sync button to stop it. All LEDs should be off except the one that signifies what controller is connected to the console (if only one controller is connected; only the top left LED should be on).
To activate the mod you will need to press the sync button. Our stealth mod controllers are simple to use. Once you press the sync button, and quickly release it, you will notice that the 4th player quadrant will light up and flash once and stay on. This will be your first mode. You can use this first mode on the game supported as outlined in the mode description portion of our site by whichever style you purchased. The other mode(s) will be outlined there as well.
Pressing the sync button one more time will make the 4th Player LED quadrant flash twice to signify that you have successfully changed to the "2nd Mode" and that your controller is set to work with a different game now. The "2nd Mode" is not the same as the first one where it just flashed once. The second mode is for a different game and has a different RapidFire speed.
A unique feature that only RFM has incorporated is the "PAUSE" mode feature on our stealth controllers. The pause feature allows you to instantly disable the mod so you can play in-game without it, when you do not need it. To enter pause mode, press and hold the sync button for approximately half a second. You will notice that, even if you were in the first, second, or with the mod "off" (bottom right LED quadrant off), that the 4th player quadrant LED will flash continuously. Once this happens your rapidfire function will be disabled meaning you can pull the trigger manually and not just hold it down as you would with the mode enabled. To return to the mode you were in, even if it was already in the "off" mode with the 4th player LED off, simply tap the sync button and it will flash to the mode you were last in. Once the controller stops flashing you can use the rapid fire if it returns to a "solid lighted" mod (it could have been turned off and still enter PAUSE mode).
Keep in mind that Mode X and Mode Y are different "game specific" speeds. You cannot use mode X in a game ONLY supported by Mode Y. You will need to use Mode x and Mode Y in the game(s) they support, or you may not receive the maximum results from our product.
RECOMMENDED BATTERIES:
*If your controller disconnects after pressing the sync button to change or turn off the mode(s) this is due to a fault with the original Xbox 360 wireless controller (Matrix versions only). To fix this, allow about a 1-2 second time frame between the press of the sync button and the press of the, most of the time, X button. This side-effect is common in unmodded controllers as well and there is no way to fix it.
